Resources for Developing and Using Rubrics
- Authentic Assessment Toolbox — When we set up assessment goals and objectives, we ask ‘What do we want our students to know, value and do?” Authentic Assessment refers to the application of knowledge, what we want our students to do, especially in real-world situations. The Toolbox helps in developing rubrics for such ‘authentic’ assessments.
- Problem based learning rubric — The above link is from the University of Delaware. It gives an example of a rubric used to assess performance in a problem-based learning. Another form of ‘authentic’ assessment.
